How is this different from the official GHL connector?

The standard setup points at one sub account at a time, and switching means disconnect, reconnect, repeat. The F4TE Connector works at the agency level. One connection covers every sub account you have, including ones you create later, and it exposes data and actions the default setup never surfaces.

Do I have to hand over API keys?

No. You connect your own GoHighLevel account through a secure OAuth flow, the same way you authorize any marketplace app. Tokens are encrypted at rest and every agency is fully walled off from every other. Nobody pastes keys into a chat window, ever.

Which AI tools does it work with?

Anything that speaks MCP. Claude desktop, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, and other MCP capable clients. You add the connector once and it follows you everywhere you work.

Can it write to my CRM or only read?

Both. Contacts, opportunities, pipelines, workflows, messages, calendars, and sub account management, plus a raw request line that can reach any GoHighLevel v2 endpoint. Your AI does real work, not just lookups.
